It looks like 2005 has almost come to an end.. so many things happened this year. There're good and not so good things happened to me and not to mention that I'll be one year older next year.. but overall 2005 has been a vey bz and happening year and I know that the coming year will give me the same satisfaction.

Let's see.. my travelling diary next year.. well.. it's quite full already.. January - balik kg and Kelantan, February - balik kg lagi, May - Kuching, end of June / early July - Langkawi, August - Jakarta, September - Bangkok, October - balik kg lagi 2 kali (bln puasa n Raya), early November - China (dalam perancangan) and December - balik kg lagi untuk raya haji..

I received my Jaring starter kit yesterday. When I plugged in and click to yahoo, the web browser automatically navigate to Jaring self care webpage and guess what?? I forgot my password. So, just now, I called Jaring and ask them to reset my password.

Yesterday, I met my big boss as I was going back. He asked me if I wanted to stay or went out to do auditing. Seeing that I’m indecisive about this, he give a third option that is I stayed for another year and help him first and then transfer out. I told him that I will give my answer by this week.

Today, I spent RM100 for 8 books by Ahmad Patria Abdullah. Most probably u guys were wondering who the hell is this guy. Obviously he’s a writer. I read his books during my schooldays.. He is the only malay writer that I know of who had the courage to write a fantasy books. Which is something very rare for a Malay and his books are quite okay. Went to Port Dickson on Saturday morning. Anne came to our house, had breakfast in Cheras and met up with Syuhada and Hana in Nilai R & R. Apa da hal la pompuan tu.. bawak keta kat highway kejap ke kiri kejap ke kanan. Ingatkan aku jer yg bakal jadi formula 1 race car driver... dia pun cenggitu jugak. Penat kerajaan buat highway, mak cik Anne tu bawak ikut jalan lama. cesss.. dah la jalan berbelit2, banyak lori, kat jalan kampung pun nak bawak lelaju. apa la nak jadi ngan anak muda zaman skang ni.. heheheh

Opss lupa lak.. yang jadik pegi ke PD.. me, Pinie, Anne, Syuhada and Hana.. my sis and 2 of Anne's frens tak dapat pegi.. hampes tul.. kurang orang, kurang meriah la...

Mak aii!! tempat cam jin bertendang.. the place is quite far from the beach (not that I like beaches), It's like a residence area.. with quite a lot of bungalow lots.. some of it has been abandone for years and some of it were not very well kept. Luckily the bungalow that we stayed was very well kept, got ASTRO, utensils, washing machines and BBQ place. It got 3 rooms with 2 bathrooms, airconds and double beds. Yahoo!!!

Sampai jer terus aku masak spageti, buat sandwich.. that's our lunch. Blasah punya baik.. rest kejap pas tu terus tido... hahahahaha, pukul 6 pegi pasar malam beli satay.. balik lepas maghrib, kitorang buat operasi BBQ.. bebudak tu kecoh nak nyalakan api.. kalo suruh aku sampai besok pagi pun tak menyala api tu..

Anne dah siap perap ikan pari, ikan jaket (hahahaha.. ikan cencaru la.. ikan jaket tu nama time skolah dulu) pas tu ada ayam, sate lagi. Si Afizah datang petang tu siap bawak walnut cake lagi mak dia buat. Anne plak siap masak tom yam lagi.lepas kecoh-kecoh bakar segala mende makan tu.. apa lagi time untuk melantak.. makan tak ingat dunia tapi still tak habih.

Breakfast pagi besoknyer, kitorang panaskan lebihan benda makan yg smlm tu pas tu. Melantak yang tu jer la.. Lebih kurang pukul 11 pagi kitorang bertolak balik.

Kak Mas said that my name has went up on the last meeting. Now, all I have to do is wait.. oh yaa.. I did ask Mr. Walter on this matter and he has confirmed, but they have not decided on when or where to release me..

Let's just say that I'm not that keen on transferring to the 'other side' but that pak cik downstairs has made some noises since February this year and made me tender my transfer form.. (hehehe I'm putting all the blames on him).. Mr. Walter said the same things to.

It's true, the money is good and you get to travel (which I love).. well .. provided that I will be transferred to the right section.. but to adapt to a new environment is a bit scary for me..

What I can do is hope for the best!!

This week will be hectic. 4 courses in 5 days. Between me and Kak Mas will be busy between Menara and Dataran. One of us must be in the office and the other to supervise the running of the course. There’s a bit of hiccup today.. but luckily the big boss wasn’t around.. we’ll be beheaded if he was around.. scary movie beb. Hehehe..

Going to Low Yatt today, Nora wanted to buy a notebook. Got to go.. lots of work piling up already

Love is Blind or are you stupid??

They said... Love Is Blind.. I guess to some extend it's true.. It must be so shining and blinding that made you overlook someone's fault. Your brain cannot comprehend the facts that the person got bad attitude or something...

Finally one of my best friend's going to get engaged this coming Sunday. He's a good guy but his girlfriend's a sourgrape. Huhmm.. I guess we'll be losing him to her. Why can't she be just a bit like Wawa. So what if she's didn't get into University. We're not looking down on her. If you lack of education it's okay, you could set it off by being nice... but no.. she need to be both.. lack of education and plain right rude. I guess I'm pissed off by what she said about Hanil's mother. Didn't she know how close he is with Hanil's family. Even nenek regards him as one of his grandson. It's not the first time that she made rude comments about people around him. Like what she said about Farah, me, wawa..

Things are changing and I don't think I like it. I'm losing friends one by one and at the office, people are moving out and about. This has really shaken me a bit. I like stability and security and this year has been full of changes and surprises. I hate this feeling.. like something's hanging above your head and you're not sure what it is or when it's gonna drop on you.

Well 2005 is almost over. What will be in store for me next year?? Is it good?? Is it bad?? I'm turning 29 next year. I need to make plans and also revised my list of things that I wanna do or to have.

Just got back to office yesterday.. got lots of work to do.. my boss on leave the whole weak so cannot apply for leave.. but still can't take leave next week coz we got a few courses line up at Dataran Mayban, Bangsar.

My trip was superb... way beyond my expectation. It was great..

Bought the new SG Wannabe album titled Classic Odyssey. It's a collection of old songs from 1978 - 1993. All songs were given new life and it sounded superb. Heard a song by a group M to M. They sounded a lot like SG Wannabe. And I watched Kwon Sang Woo's new Samsung Anycall commercial with Hyori and Eric. Mak aii ganaz jer nampak mamat tuh.. ngan rambut dier cenggitu..

Watched also Anycall School Attack.. featuring Shinwa.. hensem lak si Eric tu.. walaupun dalam Super Rookie tu punyala bongok.

Yesterday was the last working day for my Section Head. He's been with the Bank for 24 1/2 years, starting from clerks and ended with being a Section Head for Knowledge Management and Development. He'll be starting his chambering with one lawyer firm in KL Sentral. We will always remember him as a person with a good heart, jovial nature and full of sense of humor. Oh one more thing... generous.. always belanja us starbucks and makan.. (Ginger, hotels, cakes etc).. hehehehe..

Kak Mas also will be leaving.. most probably middle of next month or latest by January. This time I will be all alone... tensen...

The D Day is nearing and hopefully... everything will work out for the best.

No!!! My boss is going to tender his resignation today!! He called us (me and Kak Mas) into the meeting room and told us that he is going to give one month notice and his last day would be November 14, 2005. Then, the rumours that our unit will be merged with Admin and Secretariat and headed by Karen must be true. Arghh!! this is the worst news that I have this year. With Kak Mas waiting to be transferred out, I will be all alone here.. My boss is chinese, big man with big heart. He is the best boss ever. He didn't really care what you do as long as you finish your job. He had passed his legal exam and will start the legal practice this coming December in Brickfileds.

For those who really knows me, then they will know that one thing that I really hate is changes. I guess I'm a formatted person like Apeng too.. hahahaha.. I really shocked myself when I send the transfer form before. I guess Encik Hazimi didn't know about this yet. I'm sot sure if he's in the office or not.

Pepagi lagi dah kena sound ngan big boss!! Adus!!

Here's a glimpse of what went on at Sinar Ramadhan Bersama Anuar Zain. A few things happened but no need to write much. Certain things better left unsaid.

Today is the day that we will berbuka puasa with Anuar Zain. For those who don't know who Anuar Zain is.. well.. he is the best Malay Male Singer in Malaysia and don't forget.. handsome and sweet..

I arrived at the Lanai Gurney Corporate Suite around 6.30pm. Mak aii.. tak penah ku sampai di sini.. nasib baik jumpa tempat ni. Our venue is at the roof top. Nice view!! you can see KL but don't look down couse you can see Kg Datuk Keramat which is not so nice view. I met new frens like Suzy, Epy, Kak Belle, Shee, Ina and few more as well as those that i knew way back at the Top Hat Restaurant like Amie, Azmi, Baby, Diana, Hawa, Shida and a few more that I couldn't remember their names. Oh ya.. Shah was there too.. He's the owner of www.anuar-zain.com.

AZ arrived a few minutes before 7pm and he was greeted with some over enthusiasted fans.. Gaya macam YB plak.. hehehe.. He went from table to table to greet all 40 over fans. And as always, he was nice and sweet with genuine smiles on his face. After berbuka, he went for prayer. After that he gave a speach and sang the song Munkin. He, then, went from table to table again for autograph and cit cat sessions with all of us. Bergambar lagi. Kiera said that he's the type of person who couldn't say no to his fans and it ended up him being at the fans' table for a while. Terpaksa la pulak si Izam yg jadik bodyguard cum penjaga masa.. Thanks a lot Izam.

Kesian Anuar untill 11pm pun masih tak rest lagi. Kesian lagi tengok Shee. Tak makan pun sebab terlampau penat cuma minum jer. Dah la kurus. hehehe. Lagi kesian sebab urusetia tak der table, tak berkesempatan nak duduk semeja ngan AZ. At last Shee and the gang get to sat down with him. He expressed his thanks to Shee and the gang for their hardwork and maybe.. maybe there will be another one coming after raya. Hopefully, it will not clash with my plan.

I gave him, the present that I bought for him and bergambar lagi... muahahaha.. and then I send baby to KL Sentral and went back home.

Kuantan (01 - 02 October 2005)

Last weekend, me, Pinie and Anne went to Kuantan. Originally, we wanted to go on Friday Night but Anne's dad was a bit worried all the 3 of us 'anak dara' travelling at nigh to Kuantan. It's different travelling from KL to Kuantan at night compare to travelling to the northern region at night. One thing, the PLUS highway is way better than the Highway to Kuantan and it's not very dark with lots of cars and housing areas.

Anyway, we arrived in Cherating around 1pm. After resting for a while, we went out for our lunch. Mind you, we had our lunch at 4 pm at Kemaman, eating Sata, Otak-otak and also Keropok Lekor. We were quite hungry coz we had our breakfast around 8 am.. yummy, nasik lemak ayam at Wangsa Maju or is ist Melawati.. well.. nevermind that. After that, we went to Kuantan. The real reason I wanted to go to Kuantan is to visit Nad and her twin daughters. But she's not at home, went to a kenduri with her husband. We arrived at Cherating around 1pm. After resting for a while and watched TV, we decided to have our late lunch in Kemaman, we had Sata, Otak-Otak and Keropok Lekor. After that straight away to Kuantan and since Nad's and her husband went to Balok we lepak first at the Kopitiam.

Around 7.30pm, we headed to Nad'd house.. guess what??!! Sesat beb sampai ke Gambang.. siot tull.. We turned back and went to Tanjung Lumpur. We had our dinner at a small stall. I asked Anne is that the place where the BM brough them last time? sebab tak der orang pun. As soon as we parked our car, people started to arrived at the stall.. er.. okay.. i guessed it was the right place lah.. We orderd Udang/Ketam masak pedas, Ikan sebelah bakar dan sup sayur. Punya la banyak udang yg derang pilih dah la besar-besar. Anyway, we managed to finished everything. Memang buruk lantak betul la. memang la kitorang order tu tak banyak variety tapi bayangkan derang ambik udang tu sekilo. Tapi wa cakap lu, memang sedap gilos.. the best seafood ever!! yummy!! yummy!! Lepas tu terus jer balik tido.

We had our Brunch at the famous Hai Peng Kopitiam in Kemaman Town. The roads are very confusing, one way and a stupid traffic lights that causes jammed. Cess hampess!!. I had the roti bakar and kopi as well as nasik lemak. Itu pun sodap. If you go to Kemaman, do stop by at the kopitiam, it was a great place to have Kopi.. I gave 10 stars for the Kopi. Went to Kuala Kemaman and bought some keropok and after that we went to Nad's house. Guess what??!! We sesat again!!! Arghh!!! Tensen!! and still arrived at Gambang. The same place. I'm telling you guys, we were cursed!! I took the highway from Gambang and Exit at Kuantan and then to Nad's house. hehehehe.. Lamanya tak jumpa Nad. Her twins were sleeping and she woked them up. Hampes betul mak derang nih.. hehehehe jangan mare yer Nad!!.. Cute little kiddies, tapi memang sebijik muka Razali.. hehehe.. But we did not stopped long at her house. Around 4 pm we headed back to KL and arrived around 6.30pm. Not bad.. It was a bit jam not far from the Gombak toll.. Biasakla, bukak satu lane saja kan. pas tu siap ada accident lagi, motor dengan lori.. nauzubillah. mintaklah dijauhkan dari kitorang.

Ngular.. ngular!!

Ini ler keja aku ari ni.. ngular!!! hehehehe.. mentang-mentang la Abu Loo tak der kat opis apa lagi.. ngular ler keje aku.. tapi jgn salah paham. Aku dah mintak time off dari dia tau. Right now, I'm searching for new skin for my blog. Dah buhsan dengan skin lama. oh lupa lak.. ni sesambil jer.. aku mintak time off untuk menservicekan kereta aku tu.. maklumla besok aku nak ke Kuantan.

Amboi.. gumbira betul department2 lain kat tempat aku, maklumla bonus masuk ari ni. Kitorang jugak la lambat dapat. Orang lain dah berjoli katak.. kitorang baru dapat. All the romours have been confirmed. It's slightly, well actually it's 25% lower than last year.. huhuhu.. pelamin anganku musnah!! Still it's quite ok. Anyway, have to adjust my budgeting..

Promotion

38 staff have been promoted this round!! There have been some discontent among the staff on the promotion of staff. Many of them are actually due for promotion but the problem is from the HR. Not enough place for promotion. Anyway, I'm sure those people are very happy about this. My ears can only take so much complaints and whining. Come on la.. you're not the only one due for promotion.

Anyway, promotion is the time for makan.. hehehe.. makan free sokmo. Orang promotion blanja la.

Just received something wonderful!! Now I can smile till my face cramp.. hehehe!!

What is the drama about? In my humble opinion, it is about love. Love between a man (Ki-Joo) and woman (Tae-Young), love between uncle (Ki-Joo) and nephew (Soo-Hyuk) and love or in this case, lack of, between mother (Ki-Hae) and son (Soo-Hyuk).


Where to begin? I think this drama works first and foremost because of the chemistry between the leads, Park Shin Yang and Kim Jung Eun. They also look so good together. I can believe that Han Ki-Joo (Park Shin Yang) and Kang Tae-Young (Kim Jung Eun) do meet and fall in love despite their different personalities. I can believe that their love is so strong that they continued with their relationship despite family objections and guilt from hurting Ki-Joo's beloved nephew (who is also in love with Tae-Young). It is of course thanks to a highly amusing and clever script that the scenes between the two are so funny and real. Unlike most other Korean dramas where the couple could be engaged and are so reserved with each other, it is difficult to imagine them being in love, Ki-Joo and Tae-Young do hold hands, hug and kiss (twice even). They also tease each other and have fun together, just as a real couple would

The script is incredibly refreshing with a good amount of humour in it. I have never laughed as much with any other dramas. The story itself may not be original but the writers injected the script with enough humour, meaning and emotions (without going over-the-top) to make it new . Although it got soppy at times, there were a lot more laugh-out-loud moments. Such as when Tae-Young loses a bet with Ki-Joo and has to fulfill three of his wishes. His last wish was for her to spend the night and looking shy, she refuses, then she cracks a smile and say "is that what you think I would say; do you know how long I have been waiting for you to ask me!" And that is perhaps the best insight into Tae-Young's character. In her, the writers have created someone who is spunky, unafraid, cheerful, warm-hearted and steadfast in her love and devotion to Ki-Joo. When threatened by Moon Yoon-Ah (the woman chosen for Ki-Joo by his father) to stay away from Ki-Joo, Tae-Young stood up to her and told her off. Again, not done in most dramas where the sweet, long-suffering heroine would cower under similar threats. So, hurray for girl power. (WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD)

Unfortunately, towards the end of the show, Tae-Young's spunk deserts her and she breaks up with Ki-Joo for the most absurd reason, even despite his assurances once he learns of the "big secret" (which really wasn't such a big deal). And depending on your interpretation of her reasons for returning to Paris without Ki-Joo, you could surmise that she either got her courage back (wants to continue her studies to fulfill her dreams) or not (running away because she couldn't face up to what happened to Soo-Hyuk). I personally saw it as the latter. If she had wanted to fulfill her dreams of being a writer, she could have done so without breaking up with Ki-Joo (although they declared their love for each other, they left it up to fate to decide if they would meet again in the future - he said he would find her but it didn't really look like he put much effort into it)

I would like to take a moment to commend the lead actors for their outstanding work. I did not know Park Shin Yang, not having seen any of his work before, but I am now a fan. He successfully conveyed the emotions carefully hidden beneath the arrogant and self-assured Ki-Joo, often times accomplishing this with just a look or a change in expression. Kim Jung Eun I had seen in "All About Eve" and she could not be more different as Tae-Young. She definitely has a flair for comedy. Lee Dong Gun was at his best when his Soo-Hyuk was most vulnerable. And my heart went out to Soo-Hyuk at the end when he stood alone crying. I have to also mention the young actor who played Tae-Young's cousin, Keon. He was so natural and each time he cried, it felt so real. He has tremendous potential.

After investing so much emotion in the love affair between Ki-Joo and Tae-Young, I was very disappointed with the ending. Although I can understand the desire by the writers to do something different and give the audience a surprise, I nonetheless felt cheated. I suppose I am one of those who wants no surprises at the end with a neat and definite ending, preferably a happy one

Overall though, I think this is one of the best and most charming Korean dramas made to date. You will smile and laugh when Ki-Joo and Tae-Young are on screen together, shed a tear or two for Soo-Hyuk's unrequited love, glower at the "bad" guys plotting their schemes and shed more tears when Ki-Joo and Tae-Young have to part. Futsal!!!

10.09.2005, konon-kononnyer nak pegi main futsal la, after being pestered by Zilan and Aris, I finally agreed to go for futsal training at Galaxy Sports Complex, Ampang. So, went there after 5pm, (janji kul 5 ptg, biasal janji melayu) Kak Yati, Fiza, Sudeman, Monzar, Rizal, Zamri, Sharifuddin.. who else?? can't remember.. they were already there. But where the heck is Zilan and Aris?? Called Aris, he said he couldn't make it coz his in laws were at his house, called Zilan but could not reached him. After 6 pm, we left the place and headed to Ampang Point. We played bowling there, me, Monzar, Kak Yati, Fiza and Nora. Hampess!!

Today, I finally submitted my transfer form. It's an internal transfer within Audit. Well.. the thing is.. I don't think that I really need to submit the form cause from what Kak Mas informed me this morning, apparently, Walter had called Kak Mas and told her that the services side will reduced its staff and our units will consist of Section head, 1 Exec and 1 Clerk. And he informed that it will be effective as soon as I transfer out to Domestic Operations. Well.. I haven't submit my transfer form yet..

This is not a new thing. Ever since I attended the course Effective Internal Audit, the Big Boss did said something about me being in Services side and he had told both my boss about it and walla.. I'll be transferred out.. When?? Where?? Just wait and see.
